About the Organization

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore’s startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity.NSRCEL’s mission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1347 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 25 states in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Maruti Suzuki among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.

Job Description/Responsibilities

As a Program Associate in the NSRCEL Impact Orbit, you will play a key role in transforming the entrepreneurial journey for startups within our ecosystem. Working closely with the SPM, you will:

• Drive Program Excellence: Help execute the day-to-day operations of our dynamic programs, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of key milestones.
• Collaborate for Success: Build meaningful, sustainable relationships with entrepreneurs, internal teams, and program partners to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Data-Driven Insights: Conduct in-depth monitoring and evaluation surveys, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to improve program outcomes.
• Support Growth: Assist in developing and managing program activities, resources, and budget to ensure we consistently meet our objectives.
• Entrepreneur-Centric Focus: Be the bridge between entrepreneurs and NSRCEL's resources. Understand their needs and work proactively to facilitate the support they require.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Bring innovative and strategic thinking to address challenges and drive impact, helping shape the future of entrepreneurship in India.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with the following:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution (Management or related fields are a plus).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in program management, startup ecosystems, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong program execution skills with a focus on attention to detail and timeliness.
• Ability to think strategically and offer innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest or experience in Social Entrepreneurship is highly desirable.
