Job Description

The Centre for Criminology and Victimology, National Law University Delhi is inviting applications for 01 (one) Research Associate.

• The candidates shall be required to collate the primary data from the field.
• Supervision of Field Investigators.
• Coding and Analysis of the data collected.
• Conduct of high quality doctrinal research pertaining to the subject matter.
• Maintains highly detailed records of the stages of development of the project and the final results thereof. vi. Additionally, the candidates will be involved with other research related activities of the Project/ Centre.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• LL.M. or relevant Masters degree in Social Sciences (Criminology/Psychology) from a recognised Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and a good academic record.
• For those applying with a relevant Masters degree in Social Sciences there must be a clear and demonstrable track record of interdisciplinary research involving law.
• Proficiency in criminal laws is necessary.
• Prior research experience including field work and data collection is desirable.

Salary

INR 50,000 per month (consolidated)
