Role

The Research Associate/ Project Associate/ Consultancy Associate will support the Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator in data collection, field research, statistical analysis, literature review, and preparation of research reports, contributing to evidence-based policy insights for the relevant departments.

Qualification Essential

• Candidate must have a qualification of a master’s degree like MSc/ MTech/ MBA in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operation Management, Financial Analytics, or equivalent disciplines from a recognized/reputed or university. A master's from IITs/IIMs/NITs shall be preferred.

Experience Required

• Minimum 01 year of relevant work experience in a project assistant/associate/similar post with leading research role.
• Experience in IIMs/IITs/TISS or government-funded research projects shall be highly
• preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis (STATA/R/Python).
• Experience in primary data collection, survey administration, and field research.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare research reports and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Willingness to travel extensively within NER division.

Job Description

• The Research Associate/Project Associate/Consultancy Associate will support
• the Project Coordinator/ Principal Investigator in data compilation, field research, statistical
• analysis, and drafting of research deliverables.

Data Collection & Field Research

• Administer surveys, conduct field interviews, and manage data entry and cleaning.
• Coordinate with field investigators and government officials at the district level.

Data Analysis & Visualization

• Perform statistical analysis using appropriate software and methods.
• Create publication-quality charts, graphs, and tables for reports and presentations.

Report Writing & Support

• Assist in drafting research reports, policy briefs, and presentations.
• Support the Project Coordinator in stakeholder meetings and project administration.

Consolidated Salary

• INR 35,000 – 45,000/ per month (Negotiable based on qualifications, experience and skills).

Age (Maximum)

• 40 Years (Relaxation as per Government of India norms for reserved categories).
