About the Organization

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), established in the year 1936, is a Deemed to be University under Ministry of Education. It has campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad, TISS offers over 50 Post Graduate programmes, 18 Doctoral programmes, and Under Graduate programmes in Social Science and Skill Education.

Job Description

• Designing Questionnaire
• Engage/Facilitate data collection through a household survey and Focus Group Discussion
• Field visits in villages of Pune district, Maharashtra
• Basic Analysis and tabulation of large survey data
• Identification of key informants from various stakeholders and conduct of qualitative interviews
• Helping the PI/Co-PI for preparing the initial draft report

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Educational qualification:

• PhD in Rural Development, Development Studies, Social Science discipline, (with at least three years of work experience in research projects).
• Have good knowledge about basic statistical techniques and statistical software likeSTATA/SPSS
• Age limit 25-40
• The candidate should have good written and oral commutation skill in English/Hindi/Marathi.
