Senior Program Manager

Role Purpose
The Senior Program Manager will provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, monitoring, and scale-up of programs while advancing the organization's capabilities in research, convening, and system transformation. The role will generate evidence, foster cross-sector collaboration, influence practice and policy, and enable sustainable improvements in public systems through strong stakeholder engagement and excellence execution.
Location: Bikaner / Jaipur , Rajasthan
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Drive end-to-end execution.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and deliverables.
- Conduct regular program reviews.
- Ensure quality implementation across districts/states.
Team Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Coach Program Leaders and field teams.
- Build leadership capability.
- Drive performance management.
Research & Evidence Generation
Ability to generate, synthesize, and translate research and implementation evidence into actionable insights that influence program design, policy decisions, and system improvement.

Documentation & Communication
- Prepare concept notes.
- Write strategic papers.
- Develop presentations for leadership.
- Create reports for donors and government.
Additional Responsibilities
- Design and scale reform prototypes that can be institutionalized within public systems.
- Develop state-level implementation playbooks, SOPs, and governance mechanisms.
- Enable transition from externally driven implementation to government-owned systems.
- Support institutional embedding of interventions within state structures and processes.
- Lead scale-up strategies across districts and states.
Qualification
- Master's degree (MBA, Public Policy, Rural Management, Education, Development Studies or related field)
- 10-14 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with government systems.
- Strong program management experience.
- Consulting experience is preferred
