Job Description/Responsibilities
Below is an indicative set of responsibilities you will be required to lead as part of your role. We believe that
a job description is best created collaboratively where the individual joining the team and the senior
leadership team together define the role in greater detail so it reflects your aspirations and ambitions as
much as it does the organisation’s needs. A detailed description will be jointly created once the selection
process has been completed and you have accepted our offer of employment.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Create training strategy, roadmap & session plans and drive effective implementation of the same
- Consistently propose improvements to the training models through research and implement these as part of a contextualised approach to capacity building
- Co-create a range of professional development frameworks to train and onboard parents, teachers, HMs, BRTEs, delivery personnel, district teams and any other stakeholders relevant to Madhi’s programmes
- Build online courses and expertise in working with commonly used LMS
- Review session plans created by the team and ensure that all plans are of high quality and meet quality standards set by Madhi
- Create periodic training observation reports that capture the effectiveness of the training and recommend improvements to the existing processes
- Plan and execute classroom observations with the team and continuously strive to innovate and problem-solve to improve the quality of public education
- Create periodic reports that capture stories, cases and insights from the field that will help the project team strengthen the programme
- Support Associates and Senior Associates sharpen their technical skills through structured feedback mechanisms and ongoing professional development
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are deeply intrigued by the dynamics of learning and development and continuously seeking ways to enhance learning experiences
- Possess excellent facilitation and coaching skills
- Have impeccable planning and task-tracking skills
- Can read, write and speak in Tamil
- Possess a growth mindset and are comfortable seeking solutions for problems that you may not immediately have an understanding of.
Prerequisites include:
- An undergraduate degree in any relevant discipline
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in teacher training, learning and development and implementing andragogy principles
- At least 1 year of experience in managing a team of at least 2 entry-level members
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and all Google Suite applications
