Job Position: Sr. Associate - Accounts
Locations: Ahmedabad
No. of Position: 1
CTC: ₹3 LPA - ₹4.8 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)
Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Accounts will support day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, expense management, and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting systems, GST compliance, reimbursements, vendor payments, and MIS reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Handle daily accounting functions including data entry, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial records in Tally and other accounting systems.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Expense, Reimbursement & Vendor Management
- Manage employee travel arrangements, expense claims, and reimbursement processing as per company policy.
- Handle vendor payments, track outstanding payables, and maintain vendor records.
- Support project-wise expense tracking and filings.
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Statutory Compliance & Audits
- Ensure timely filing and compliance for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Support statutory and internal audits by maintaining accurate documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
Coordination & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Assist in cost control measures and continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GST, accounting principles, reimbursements, and expense management
- Hands-on experience with Tally
- Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skill
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts and finance roles
- Experience in NGO / CSR / service sector will be an added advantage
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
