Location: Delhi NCR or Nashik (with periodic field visits across project sites)
CTC: 8.40 LPA to 7.50 LPA (Depending on the relevant knowledge and expertise)

The Role and Responsibilities:
Hydrological Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive hydrological studies including rainfall analysis, catchment delineation, runoff estimation, groundwater recharge, and discharge calculations.
- Perform water quality assessments, sediment analysis, and recommend interventions for water quality improvement.
Planning and Design:
- Develop detailed technical designs for desilting, inlet-outlet structures, spillways, and overflow systems for lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and other water bodies.
- Coordinate planning of inlet-outlet water channels considering hydrological flow dynamics, flood mitigation, and groundwater recharge objectives.
Technical Guidance and Implementation:
- Provide technical oversight during the execution phase including desilting operations, sediment removal, embankment stabilization, and construction of hydrological structures.
- Guide and support the construction and operational teams to adhere to technical specifications and quality standards.
Wastewater and Sewage Segregation:
- Identify and design solutions for the segregation, diversion, and treatment of wastewater and sewage entering water bodies.
- Work closely with civil engineers, environmental engineers, and local municipalities to implement sustainable sewage management solutions.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:
- Establish systems for ongoing hydrological and environmental monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of rejuvenation interventions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, technical papers, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Capacity Building and Training:
- Conduct technical training sessions for project staff, local stakeholders, and community groups to enhance understanding of hydrological processes and sustainable water body management.
Qualification and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience specifically in hydrological assessments, including significant on-ground experience in water body rejuvenation, water body rejuvenation, watershed management, or related fields. Prior experience with field-level implementation and supervision of rejuvenation projects is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing technical interventions such as desilting, inlet-outlet structures, wastewater segregation, and sustainable drainage systems.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in hydrological modeling and software (e.g., SWAT, HEC-HMS, GIS-based tools).
- Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency in designing structural interventions.
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment and sustainable sanitation technologies.
- Excellent project management and documentation skills.
