About the Organization

The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), an autonomous organisation under the Union Ministry of Rural Development, is a premier national centre of excellence in rural development and Panchayati Raj. Recognized internationally as one of the UN-ESCAP Centres of Excellence, it builds capacities of rural development functionaries, elected representatives of PRIs, bankers, NGOs and other stakeholders through inter-related activities of training, research and consultancy. The Institute is located in the historic city of Hyderabad in Telangana state. The NIRD&PR celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year of establishment in 2008. In addition to the main campus at Hyderabad, this Institute has North-Eastern Regional Centre at Guwahati, Assam to meet the NE-regional needs.

Job Responsibilities

Administration of network systems as well as support to customisation in reporting the progress along with database maintenance

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology in second class with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.0 on 10-point scale or equivalent.
• With B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technolgy/ Electronics/ ECE/Electronics & Telematics in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.5 on 10 point scale or equivalent.

 Desirable qualifications & Experience

• Experience of at least ONE year in Web Application S/W development using web services, Programming in NET, C#, FLEX, AJAX, J2EE, Java Script, C&C++ etc., customised DSS in server GIS environment, Database Programming, Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of developing web applications for GIS

Salary

Rs.30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
