Don Bosco Tech Society is looking for an organized and experienced trainer to provide complete training to underprivileged youth (based on knowledge and skills with materials, instructions, and other learning resources).

Roles and Responsibilities
The Trainer – Data Center Operations Management will be responsible for delivering technical training to learners, ensuring they acquire practical and industry-relevant skills to begin careers in data center operations. The role requires strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, hardware, networking fundamentals, power systems, and operational procedures. The trainer must be able to simplify complex technical concepts and create an engaging, hands-on learning environment for diverse groups of trainees.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions as per the approved curriculum for Data Center Operations Management.
- Train learners on server hardware, storage devices, network basics, UPS systems, and data center infrastructure components.
- Provide demonstrations on installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, switches, racks, cabling, and power management systems.
- Teach best practices in data center safety, operations, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure trainees gain hands-on exposure to real-world data center tasks, troubleshooting, and operational workflows.
- • Conduct assessments to evaluate trainee understanding, skill development, and job-readiness.
- • Maintain detailed records of attendance, performance scores, feedback, and practical task completion.
- • Offer individual mentoring, doubt clarification, and support to help trainees achieve certification readiness.
- • Coordinate with placement teams to support learners in achieving industry placements.
- • Collaborate with the Center Coordinator and project team for smooth training delivery and operational execution.
- • Participate in mobilization activities, awareness sessions, and counseling for prospective trainees.
- • Prepare training-related reports, documentation, and progress updates as required by the project.
- • Ensure the training lab, tools, machines, and systems are maintained in good working order for effective practical sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / IT / Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience and 2 years of industry experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, networking, or server administration.
- Strong understanding of data center components including servers, switches, routers, racks, cabling, cooling systems, power backup, and safety protocols.
- Good knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, network fundamentals, and IT infrastructure monitoring.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and local language.
- Ability to guide, motivate, and support trainees with patience and professionalism.
- Strong presentation, documentation, and classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet usage, and basic hardware/software support.
