About the Organization

The broad objective of the National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research (NCDIR), Bengaluru, are to sustain and develop a national research data-base on cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases (CVD), and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas. The primary focus of centre includes established nationwide data-base for cancer through the National Cancer Registry Programme and the Cancer Atlas Project. The secondary focus is to facilitate and coordinate research activities by collaborating centres towards epidemiological and clinical studies in diabetes, CVD and stroke.

Job Responsibilities

Developing, designing, and testing algorithms, coding, data preparation as per the requirement. Image/Digital Signal Processing, Natural Language Processing, Algorithm design, Data analytics. Should be flexible to work on any given task.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate with at least 55 % of marks in Computer Application / Computer Science / Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/Computer Graphics with one year post qualification experience in the relevant field/subjects. Knowledge of any of the domains viz. Natural Language Processing/Data Analytics/Image Processing/Digital Signal Processing is essential. Knowledge of machine learning, good technical skills in C/C++/Python/R, Matlab, MFC, JAVA, C#, Algorithm designs is essential.

Desirable Qualification

• Exposure to language computing, coding, Analytical and Problem-solving capacity good writing, Communication skills, Time management.

Salary

Rs.42,000/- per month (All inclusive)
