About the Organization

The Naveen Jindal Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development and prosperity of the nation. Established with the vision of creating a brighter and more sustainable future, through key pillars of Naveen Sankalp: Education, Health, Infrastructure Development, Women Empowerment, Sports, Agriculture Reforms, and Skill Development. Led by Shri Naveen Jindal, a three-time Member of Parliament from the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency in Haryana, the Foundation is committed to transforming lives and empowering communities across India.

About the Proposal

The Naveen Jindal Foundation (NJF), a leading philanthropic institution dedicated to empowering communities through education, skills, and social impact, is spearheading the establishment of the Kurukshetra International Skill Centre (KISC) in Kurukshetra, as part of its Naveen AVSAR (Advance Vocational Skills for Aspirational and Rewarding lives) initiative, aimed at unlocking new opportunities and transforming the region into a hub for world-class skill development. Envisioned as a transformative hub for the state’s youth, KISC is designed to bridge the gap between skilling and employability by delivering industry-aligned programs, career counselling for informed choices, experiential and hands-on learning, and pathways for international mobility. Through this initiative, NJF seeks to create aspirational opportunities that empower young people of the region to compete and thrive in a global workforce.

The Kurukshetra International Skill Centre (KISC) is emerging as a cutting-edge hub of excellence in skill development, designed to re-define the future of learning and employability. Spread across a sprawling 50,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art infrastructure, the Centre is almost ready to welcome learners and partners into a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and opportunity. Every detail of KISC has been thoughtfully planned to deliver a world-class learning experience. Digitally enabled classrooms, equipped with smart boards and modern furnishings, create an engaging and interactive environment for learners. With the capacity to train over 700 students in a single shift, KISC is envisioned as one of the largest and most impactful skilling hubs in the region.

The Centre has already begun its journey with more than 100 learners enrolled in flagship programs through existing partners - including German Language Training for International Mobility and the AWS re/Start Cloud Computing Practitioner Program. Building on this momentum, NJF has also envisioned to set-up dedicated Career Counselling Lab and an Experience Centre to provide learners with holistic guidance, hands-on exposure, and pathways to global opportunities. Designed as a major hub for skilling, innovation, and international mobility, KISC offers immense potential for forward-looking organizations to co-create impactful programs and shape the next generation of skilled professionals.
