About the Request for Proposal (RFP)

vivo KanyaGyaan, is a nationwide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at empowering young women from underserved and economically challenged backgrounds to pursue education and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

The initiative provides a holistic support system including scholarships, mentorship, skill development training, and industry exposure for selected girls, enabling them to continue higher education in STEM and prepare for successful careers. In its initial phase, the program has already supported 175+ aspiring women scientists, engineers, and doctors through scholarships and guidance. Many of these scholars are first-generation college students whose successes are beginning to challenge deep-rooted societal norms and inspire their communities.

Through this RFP, vivo invites proposals from experienced organizations to collaborate as an implementing partner for expanding the reach and impact of vivo KanyaGyaan across India during the 2025–2026 project cycle.

Invitation to proposal

vivo Mobile India Pvt. Ltd. invites proposals for funding under the vivo KanyaGyaan 2025-26. Interested non-government organisations should submit both a Technical Proposal and a Financial Proposal for the project, covering the period up to March 15, 2026 (FY 2025-26). Based on the project’s success and the agency’s performance during implementation, the partnership may be considered for extension beyond this period.

Interested organizations (“agencies” or “agency”) are urged to thoroughly study this RFP (including the eligibility criteria and document checklist in Annexure 1) before proposal preparation. By submitting a proposal, the agency affirms that it has carefully examined the RFP and fully understands all terms, conditions, and implications. Only agencies meeting the pre-qualification criteria should apply.

Note

Soft copies of the proposal to be sent by email, with subject line –
“vivo KanyaGyaan (Scholarship) 2025-26 RFP – <NGO NAME>”.

Only shortlisted NGOs will be contacted for step #4.

Three shortlisted organizations will receive standard terms and agreements.

Pre-qualification Criteria

  1. Legal registrations:
  • Agency should be a nonprofit organization i.e. registered as a trust / society / Section 8 company registered in India
  • Agency must have the requisite legal and statutory registrations and compliances for CSR implementation
  1. Financial strength:
  • Agency should have a turnover of at least INR 10 Crores in the last FY
  • Agency should have managed a total CSR contribution of at least INR 5 Crores in the last two (02) FY with at least 4 Crore for similar Scholarship projects.
  1. Track record:
  • The agency should have a minimum of 3 years of experience implementing and managing scholarship programs on a large scale
  1. Non-Blacklisting:
  • The agency must not have been blacklisted or barred by any Government department, PSU or any other funding agency for corrupt or fraudulent practices. A self-declaration signed by the authorized signatory must be provided stating that the organization is not blacklisted.

vivo India reserves the rights to change the above criteria based on proposal received to accommodate the requirement of project and effective implementation of project.
