MAMTA HIMC is a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization committed to advancing community health and wellbeing. For over 35 years; MAMTA is working on public health by adopting gender-sensitive, inclusive, and equity-based approach. The organization focuses on Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN), Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (YSRHR), Communicable Diseases (CDs) such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis ‘B’ & ‘C’, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Mental Health, Climate Change and Health and Entrepreneurship Development.
About the Proposal
“Project Manodipti” is being implemented in Sultanpuri and its adjoining areas of North West Delhi. The project aims to enhance mental well-being and resilience among young women living in urban low-resource settings. It focuses on promoting awareness, strengthening community support systems, and creating a safe environment for open discussions around mental health. As part of its sustainability and community outreach strategy, MAMTA HIMC plans to conduct a Mass Awareness Campaign through Street Plays (Nukkad Natak) to sensitize the community on issues related to mental health, reduce stigma, and promote help-seeking behaviour. The campaign will also strengthen linkages between the community and mental health services available in the area.
Objective
The purpose of this assignment is to engage a qualified agency to design, develop, and implement a community-based awareness campaign using street plays as the primary communication medium. The campaign will convey key messages related to mental health, resilience, and well-being in a culturally appropriate and engaging manner.
The selected agency will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting the entire campaign in close coordination with the MAMTA HIMC project team.
Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and culturally relevant street play scripts that effectively communicate mental health messages, address stigma, and promote positive attitudes and help-seeking behavior
- Coordinate, manage and implement street play performances across identified locations, including planning, logistics, mobilization, and on-ground execution
- Collaborate with local community groups and stakeholders to enhance outreach, participation, and visibility of the campaign
- Ensure documentation of activities through photos, videos, and reports for monitoring and dissemination purposes.
- Work closely with the MAMTA HIMC team for content development, review, and approval of all communication materials to ensure alignment with organizational guidelines.
Deliverables
The selected agency will be responsible for delivering the following outputs:
- Conceptualization, preparation, and performance of 12 street plays across Sultanpuri and adjoining areas of North West Delhi
- Submission of a detailed implementation plan and timeline prior to commencement of activities
- Submission of a comprehensive final report with documentation (photos, videos, and narrative description of each event)
Eligibility
Interested private firms/companies with relevant experience are invited to submit proposals. NGOs, Trusts, and Societies are not eligible for this assignment. Proposals must include the following documents:
- Cover Letter expressing interest in undertaking the assignment.
- Technical Proposal outlining the approach, methodology, execution plan, and timeline for delivery.
- Profile and relevant documents of the agency (including GST), details of past experience in conducting similar awareness campaigns, preferably in public health or social development sectors.
- Financial Proposal (INR) inclusive of all applicable taxes, aligned with deliverables and payment structure.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 4th November 2025 by 6:00 PM (IST). Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered. Only shortlisted agencies will be contacted for further discussions or clarifications.
