Organization Profile: Shikshit Rojgar Kendra Prabandhak Samiti (SRKPS) is a grassroots nongovernmental organization established in 1987 and based in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. With over three decades of experience, SRKPS has been at the forefront of empowering marginalised communities across Rajasthan through integrated interventions in education, renewable energy, health, environment and sustainability, gender equity, and livelihood development.

The organization has a proven track record of collaborating with national and international partners, government departments, and CSR stakeholders. SRKPS specializes in creating sustainable, community-driven models that combine infrastructure development with rights-based advocacy and institutional capacity building. Its projects range from model school development and solar energy solutions to nutrition, child protection, and tobacco control initiatives.

Recognised for its transparency and field credibility, SRKPS continues to lead inclusive development efforts that priorities women, children, and rural populations, ensuring long-term social impact and systemic change.

 

 

 

1. Project Background

Project Gram Vikas Shakti is a CSR initiative of the Azim Premji Foundation, implemented by SRKPS. The project focuses on strengthening local self-governance and ensuring the inclusion of marginalized groups (women, SC/ST) in 10 Gram Panchayats in Phalodi, Rajasthan. Current challenges include low awareness of welfare schemes, inactive Gram Sabhas, and proxy representation of women leaders.

2. Objective of the Assignment

The objective is to hire a creative consultant or agency to design and produce high-quality IEC materials to build community awareness and capacity regarding government welfare schemes and local governance rights. These materials must simplify complex government procedures for rural audiences.

3. Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the following materials:

• Print Media:
  • Posters: Visually engaging posters for public spaces (Panchayat Bhawans, community Haats, schools) focused on key welfare schemes.
  • Booklets/Handbooks: Comprehensive guides detailing eligibility, documentation, and grievance redressal for Central and State schemes.
  • Toolkits: Practical kits for field staff to use during community mobilization and awareness sessions.

 

• Multimedia:
  • Audio Materials: Jingles or informative clips for community radio or mobile broadcasting.
  • Video Materials: Short, impactful films or animations (in Hindi/local dialect) covering topics like Government schemes and their benefits for local communities.

4. Deliverables & Timeline

The project is expected to be completed within 30 days.

1. Inception Report: Proposed creative themes and content outline.
2. Draft Designs: Initial drafts of all print and scripts for multimedia.
3. Final Master Copies: Print-ready files and high-resolution digital media files.

5. Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in designing IEC materials for rural development or social sector.
• Strong understanding of the Government of Rajasthan and Central Government welfare ecosystem.
• Ability to produce content in Hindi; knowledge of local Phalodi/Marwari dialects is highly preferred to ensure community resonance.
• Prior experience working with NGOs or CSR-funded projects is an advantage.
