Samhita-CGF is an impact catalyst that has been a leader in India’s CSR landscape for 15 years. We have partnered with more than 250 funders and 500 impact organisations to co-create solutions that are measurable, scalable, and sustainable. Together, these efforts have improved the lives of over 17 million individuals across 31 states and union territories. Our initiatives are CSR and FCRA compliant and advance key Sustainable Development Goals, including no poverty, decent work, reduced inequalities, and partnerships for the goals.

We began as a CSR consultancy and have evolved into a strategic alliance builder working across financial inclusion, healthcare, livelihoods, water, and sanitation. We have established and managed five alliances impacting seven million individuals through multi-stakeholder delivery models, meaningful and sustainable livelihood pathways. These pathways include employability training and placement, market linkages, credit linkage, social security inclusion, and entrepreneurship development support.

Role overview

The role requires strong experience in partnership development, programme execution, and understanding of the livelihood ecosystem. The manager will work closely with implementing partners, private-sector actors, financial institutions, and Rajasthan government departments to ensure women are successfully integrated into the livelihood fold.

Responsibilities

1. Program strategy and design

●       Design pathways that enable women to access training, placements, enterprise support, market linkages, credit, or social security programmes.

●       Identify promising economic opportunities in Rajasthan’s economic landscape, including handicrafts, stitching, food processing, retail, hospitality, tourism-related services, and gig-based roles.

●       Develop assessment tools to map women’s aspirations, constraints, and readiness for various opportunities.

2. Partnership development and ecosystem strengthening

●       Build and manage partnerships with:

○       Employers and job platforms operating across Rajasthan’s retail, hospitality, healthcare, and service sectors.

○       Market linkage partners such as artisan collectives, local buyers, and digital commerce platforms.

○       Banks, NBFCs, and microfinance institutions are active in Rajasthan’s credit ecosystem.

○       State institutions such as Rajeevika, RSLDC, the Department of Industries, and the Women Empowerment Department.

●       Establish partnership frameworks with clear roles, deliverables, and review mechanisms.

●       Represent Samhita in district- and state-level forums on livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, and financial inclusion.

3. Programme execution and delivery management

●       Lead on-ground implementation of all livelihood interventions through partner teams.

●       Oversee mobilisation, training delivery, placement facilitation, loan application support, and market linkage activation.

●       Ensure women receive support to access local and state-level schemes, social protection benefits, and relevant government entitlements.

●       Monitor enterprise performance and market outcomes, including participation in local fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.

●       Conduct field visits across Jaipur and nearby districts to address challenges and strengthen delivery.

4. Stakeholder coordination and field engagement

●       Coordinate with community institutions, SHG networks, local bodies, and government representatives across Rajasthan.

●       Facilitate alignment between Samhita teams and implementing partners to ensure seamless programme operations.

●       Resolve operational bottlenecks in collaboration with field teams and district stakeholders.

5. Capacity building and partner enablement

●       Build the capacity of partner staff on enterprise development, employability readiness, market access preparation, and credit linkage facilitation.

●       Mentor partner teams to strengthen participant engagement and improve delivery consistency and quality.

Qualifications, skills, and experience

●       8–10 years of experience in livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, skilling, entrepreneurship development, market systems, or financial inclusion.

●       Experience delivering at least two of the following: employability initiatives, enterprise development, credit linkage, scheme facilitation, or market linkage programmes.

●       Strong partnership experience with private sector organisations, financial institutions, and government departments, ideally within Rajasthan.

●       Demonstrated programme management experience in rural and peri-urban settings

●       Ability to oversee data processes and use insights for programme improvement.

●       Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

●       An understanding of Rajasthan’s socio-economic context, value chains, and institutional landscape is preferred.

●       Master’s degree in social work, rural management, development studies, or related fields preferred.

●       Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local language.
