Purpose: To strengthen program quality and scale by building robust content systems and equipping internal teams and implementation partners with the skills, tools, and confidence to deliver high-quality learning experiences consistently.
Role Overview
We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Manager – Content Curation & Training to strengthen content quality, training delivery, knowledge systems, and learning outcomes across large-scale NGO/CSR initiatives. The role will lead end-to-end content development, curation, documentation, and dissemination for social impact programs across Access to Finance, Education, Skilling, Employability, Financial Literacy, and Digital Literacy. The position requires close coordination with internal teams and implementation partners to ensure content and training outputs meet quality and reporting standards.
This role is content- and training-led and does not include program implementation or field operations ownership.
Work Location: Delhi/Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Content Framework & Strategy, Creation, Knowledge Management, Instructional Design & Quality Assurance
- Support and maintain a comprehensive Content Framework and Instructional Design (ID) Map for programs across themes.
- Develop Curriculum Design Overviews, clearly outlining scope, pedagogy, delivery modes, and assessment approach.
- Define and document learning outcomes using established Instructional Design models in close coordination with the MEL team.
- Curate, adapt, and contextualize content for diverse learner groups including community participants, trainers, and partner teams.
- Ensure content accuracy, contextualization, and validation through expert reviews and internal checks.
- Integrate inclusive, engaging activities that clearly align with defined learning objectives.
- Design and support training of Master Trainers, including development of Master Trainer modules, facilitation guides, and certification/assessment mechanisms.
- Contribute to institutional knowledge building through documentation of best practices, innovations, and scalable models.
Training Delivery & Capacity Building
- Design, plan, and deliver training for Implementation Partners (IPs), trainers, and internal teams on program content, pedagogy, and delivery standards.
- Conduct and co-facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT), refresher training, and onboarding/orientation sessions.
- Build capacity of IPs and internal teams to effectively use curricula, session plans, facilitator guides, and LMS platforms.
- Facilitate and assess teach-back sessions during ToTs and refresher training to evaluate trainer readiness, reinforce learning, and ensure quality delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain Facilitators’ Manuals, including session flow, key messages, activity instructions, facilitation tips, and troubleshooting guidance to support consistent and high-quality training delivery.
- Translate instructional design principles into practical, field-ready training methodologies.
- Capture training feedback, learning gaps, and field insights to continuously strengthen content and training approaches.
- Provide ongoing content-related handholding and clarifications to IPs and internal teams to maintain fidelity to quality benchmarks.
Quality Assurance & Standardization
- Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Checklist covering:
● Alignment of learning outcomes with MEL frameworks
● Accuracy, contextual relevance, and validation of content
● Alignment of activities with stated objectives
- Ensure all content adheres to organizational branding guidelines and visual identity.
- Standardize formats by ensuring PPTs, session plans, facilitator guides, and toolkits follow approved templates.
- Review and ensure that videos and multimedia assets meet defined audio-visual quality standards.
- Maintain version control, approvals, and documentation for audit and donor review purposes.
Design, Localization & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with designers, illustrators, videographers, and external agencies to ensure high-quality visual outputs.
- Oversee design, graphics, illustrations, and branding to enhance learner engagement and consistency.
- Manage translation and localization of content into regional languages, ensuring cultural relevance and fidelity to learning intent.
- Work with partner teams to adapt content for online, blended, and in-person training formats.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, NGOs, IPs, CSR teams, and donors for content review and training alignment.
- Independently manage content- and training-related discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support donor and leadership requirements through timely documentation, presentations, and learning outputs.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in content curation, learning design, training, or knowledge management within NGOs, CSR programs, foundations, or social impact organizations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-thematic content and training requirements.
- Strong proficiency in documentation, PPT design and formatting, Canva, and digital/AI-based content tools.
- Experience working with LMS platforms, digital repositories, and collaborative tools.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and capacity-building skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
- High ownership, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Management, Business, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Language proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written English and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of any South Indian language proficiency is an added advantage.
