Job Description

The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), Kanpur invites applications for filling up of Assistant Managers post.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead/ Support project execution, related technological challenges, operations, performance, economic, and market trends.
• Research and Analyze emerging technology and innovations in different streams of Science and Technology and their industrial applications.
• Lead meeting planning, facilitation, presentation, minutes, and follow-up.
• Regularly interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the performance of startups and look for newer avenues of partnerships.
• Ensure preparation of necessary portfolio reports for both internal and external purposes.
• Understand the target markets, including industry, company project, and company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract Investors.
• Promote startups and services to prospective clients.
• Interact and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, mentors, and partners.
• Developing and nurturing relationships with various key strategic individuals like local leaders, key industry players, and strategic suppliers and financing organizations.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors (Mechanical Engg. / Electrical Engg. /Aerospace Engg. Electronics & Communications Engg. or related fields) + 2 years of relevant experience OR
• Masters (Mechanical Engg. / Electrical Engg. /Aerospace Engg. Electronics & Communications Engg. or related fields)
• Strong experience in startup incubation, acceleration, or ecosystem development.
• Knowledge of fintech industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovation management.
• Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and partnership development with startups, investors, and industry leaders.
• Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
