The IIT Bombay Research Hub for Green Energy and Sustainability (GESH IITB) is dedicated to supporting the global transition to green energy and sustainability through research, education, innovation and capacity building, jointly with academia, industry, regulators and other stakeholders.

Job Description

• We are looking for an Associate HR to join our team and support various human resource functions at GESH IITB.
• Associate HR will serve as the liaison with the Institute HR office and manage Hub’s HR operations.
• This role focuses on managing key tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with institute HR policies.
• This role involves creating effective HR strategies that promote a positive workplace environment and improve employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities

• Look after recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Support employee onboarding and exit formalities.
• Maintain employee records- leave, attendance records and submit details for payroll.
• Handle employee relations, resolve conflicts, and address problems to promote a healthy work environment.
• Execution of learning and development programs to support employee growth and Hub development.
• Implement institute HR policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Arrange review meetings for performance management.
• Oversee People & Culture of office by celebrating Fun Fridays, festivals and special achievements of employees.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or any related field with 3 years of experience in hiring and HR operations.
• Knowledge of hiring tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
