NMP+ is a community-based Organization formed in 2001, by people living with HIV (PLHIV) to improve the quality of life of infected and affected people with HIV. NMP+ works in entire Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and Kerala through CBO and NGO partners to achieve organizations vision and mission. NMP+ is affiliated with National Coalition of People Living With HIV in India (NCPI+) a national level federation of PLHIV CBO’s

SAMAGRA
NMP+ has been selected as a SR as well as SSR for the Global Fund project named ‘SAMAGRA’. This program is being implemented with a key objective to improve the survival and quality of life of PLHIV by establishing 41 Care & Support Centers (CSCs) in Maharashtra state and providing technical support for Mumbai and Goa SACS supported CSCs to improve treatment outcomes and meet the needs of PLHIV, including those who are members of high-risk groups, women and children.
Key Functions: The CSC Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the program under the guidance of the Project Manager
Specific Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain linkages with ART center(s), ICTCs, PPTCT centers, NTEP, STI clinics, TIs and other service providers in the district/region
- Develop and support the implementation of the weekly and monthly work plan of CSC team
- With the support of SACS and SR, understand the latest development and update on COVID-19 guidelines and orient CSC staff on the same
- Support all staff to develop their weekly and monthly work-plan based on programme priorities and targets
- Distribute the operational area and clients among the Health Promoters to ensure optimal outreach services
- Ensure availability of IEC materials and condoms for distribution at the CSC
- Undertake occasional field visits with or without the Peer Champions and Health Promoters to observe the activities in the field and provide handholding support
- Oversee all the M&E activities of the project. Ensure that all the data collected are entered in respective tools on daily basis and verify them on weekly basis to ensure data quality
- Provide CSC Unique Identification Number (UID) to all registered clients after verifying details captured in the Client Registration Form (CRF) and supporting documents
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly and monthly reports to SR/DAPCU/ART center
- Arrange weekly and monthly meetings with the CSC team to identify key issues in the project and initiate the efforts to address them
- Ensure action taken report is submitted within a month for the action points shared by the SR/PR/SACS or NACO after their supervisory visits
- Lead advocacy, networking and local resource mobilization activities of the CSC
- In coordination with the accountant, ensure that the financial transactions and expenditure are in accordance with the approved budget and financial guidelines
- Facilitate visits from NACO, SACS, Donors and other stakeholders
- Identify the capacity building needs of CSC staff and arrange in-house training
ART-CSC Coordination:
- Function as the focal-point for ART-CSC and ICTC-CSC Coordination
- Coordinate all the data sharing activities between the ART center, ICTC and CSC
- After receiving the line list as per the priority list from ART center and ICTC, validate the information received to check for duplication and errors
- Allocate priority list tracking assignment to Health Promoters based on the client location and Health Promoter allocation. Linkage loss cases are assigned to Peer Champion designated to this work
- Collect evidence for each case tracked and validate the same before submitting the track-back information with the ART center
- Ensure at least 10% outcome of LFU/MIS tracking submitted by the Health Promoter is validated before submitting the tracker sheet/report to ART centres
- Ensure LFU/MIS cases tracking details are shared with ART centres on a regular basis
- Maintain ART-CSC and ICTC-CSC Coordination meeting related documents including meeting minutes duly signed by the Nodal Officer/SMO/MO of the ART center and ICTC
- Participate in DAPCU and ART coordination meeting to share CSC activities and priorities
- Ensure that the tracking of the ANC and PNC clients are done in accordance with the guidelines and infant follow up for EID testing as per the testing guidelines.
Person Specification:
- Candidate must have bachelor degree with at least 3 years of relevant project management experience in the health or development sectors. The criteria for selection will be relaxed for members from PLHIV or key population group with relevant experience and caliber and final decision lies with the interview panel
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
- Ability and willingness to undertake travel within Pune District.
- Strong commitment to HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
- Experience in collaborating with community organisations and groups to deliver excellent HIV and health interventions.
- Commitment to LGBT rights and inclusion and rights-based responses to HIV and generally to the key populations affected by the epidemic.
- Strong commitment to team-working, collaboration, consensus building and negotiation
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English, Marathi and Hindi.
- Fluent in Marathi and Hindi.
