Job Description
We are looking for a consultant-partnerships to join our team and help us deepen our engagement with the government in India across our work in education, skilling and livelihoods. This includes several new initiatives to institutionalise employment and entrepreneurship initiatives. This role will be based in Gurgaon, India.
Job Responsibilities
- Shaping content for meetings with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
- Provide input and draft MoUs and Contracts
- Manage data, create reports for external stakeholders and funders.
- Research opportunities to provide customised state level offerings.
- Track latest research and global developments in the field of skilling and livelihoods with a systems lens.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Understanding and/or experience of working with government stakeholders towards policy and programme objectives
- Work experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver against project plans on time
- Experience and understanding of development issues in India is desirable, especially on skills and livelihoods
- Experience of conducting desk research, including data analysis
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Excellent numeracy skills and confident with data collection, analysis and data management
- An excellent track record of time management, systems organisation, and follow-up
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills (listening/empathy)
- Agility and flexibility towards evolving responsibilities and project pivots / changes
- A collaborative approach and ability to work with global / cross cutting teams
- The ability to build and manage strong working relationships with people across teams
