Job Description

ni-msme invites applications for the position of Young Professional (Guest Rooms Supervisor) on a contractual basis for the effective management and supervision of the institute’s guest rooms and canteen operations. The position also involves coordination with visiting participants and corporate clients for hospitality support.

• Oversee daily operations of guest rooms and canteen to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and hospitality standards.
• Create and maintain a safe, disciplined, and supportive environment for visiting participants.
• Supervise housekeeping and catering staff, ensuring proper hygiene and upkeep.
• Coordinate smooth check-in/check-out processes, attend to participant and client needs promptly, and resolve any complaints or issues with professionalism.
• Coordinate with corporate clients and agencies for guest house bookings and facility usage.
• Generate revenue by facilitating infrastructure usage by external stakeholders.
• Maintain records of bookings, feedback, and inventory management.
• Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations, conduct routine inspections, and coordinate maintenance activities
• Support estate and campus management in allied hospitality functions.
• Any work assigned by the competent authority

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Graduate from a recognized university.
• Age up to 40 years
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Guest room coordination or Hostel management.

Desirable:

• Preference will be given to candidates with a degree/diploma in Hotel Management.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills.
• Basic knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations.
• Ability to communicate with corporate clients and participants effectively.
• Organizational ability to manage bookings, staff, and supplies.
• Leadership mindset: capable of staff motivation, training, supervision, and enforcing discipline.
