About the Organization

UNDP has been working in India since 1951 in almost all areas of human development. Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, Natural Resource Management, or a related field (essential).
• PhD in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field (desirable).

Work Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in biodiversity, environmental governance, or sustainable development.
• Proven expertise in CBD processes, national reporting, or policy development, with experience in monitoring indicators of National Biodiversity Targets (NBT)
• Experience working with UN agencies, government bodies, or international development organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead consultations validating indicators of National Biodiversity Targets
