Don Bosco Tech Society, a network of more than 200 skill training centres that attempts to bridge this widening divide between those who have access to opportunities and those who are increasingly being marginalized from the ‘new economy’ jobs. Don Bosco Tech addresses this endemic problem with a market-based approach that is sensitive to the socio-economic needs of marginalized youth in the 18-35 years age group. Don Bosco Tech is an example of synchronous social action of various stakeholders, which is aimed at mainstreaming and ensuring economic security for youth who could be victimized by poverty. Don Bosco Tech Society is looking for an organized and experienced trainer to provide complete training to underprivileged youth (based on knowledge and skills with materials, instructions, and other learning resources).

Designation: Manager –Placement

Location: Delhi

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive national placement strategy alignednwith the mission and objectives of Don Bosco Tech Society.
• Ensure alignment and consistency of placement initiatives across all regions and states, while implementing effective strategies to enhance student retention and post-placement success.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with national and multinational companies.
• Lead the execution of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with key industry
• stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration.
• Represent Don Bosco Tech Society in national forums, job fairs, and CSR engagement platforms.
• Develop and implement national-level frameworks for enhancing student employability, including soft skills, job-readiness, and sector-specific training modules.
• Oversee the national placement data management system and ensure real-time reporting.
• Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making, trend analysis, and performance improvements.
• Monitor the performance of Placement Executives, State Placement Managers (SPMs), and Regional Placement Managers (RPMs), providing strategic direction and support  where necessary.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure achievement of national placement targets.
• Set and maintain benchmarks for placement outcomes, ensuring uniform standards across all regions.
• Conduct regular field visits and national travel to assess ground-level implementation and ensure strategic alignment.
• Provide periodic reports and insights to senior management on placement progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure transparent communication and timely escalation of critical issues affecting placement outcomes.

Required Qualification & Skills

• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent. At least 7–10 years of experience in national-level placement strategy and management.
• Computer knowledge (MS Office applications)
• Proficient in English Language

• Confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and resources to provide training
• Capacity building and training skills
• Fluency in English (both oral and written)
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal skills & facilitation skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be familiar with local language
