Job Description

Join a mission-driven team working towards shaping the future of public health and digital transformation in India and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with national and global institutions, international donors, and sector leaders on high-impact initiatives that influence policy, improve service delivery, and create lasting systemic change. At MSC, you’ll work at the intersection of health systems, innovation, and policy—partnering with governments, global donors, and technology pioneers to design scalable, people-centered solutions. This is a high-impact role for professionals who want to influence health system reform, lead cross-sectoral teams, and drive measurable change across low- and middle-income contexts.

Aligned with MSC’s strategy for thematic and geographic diversification, this role will drive health sector projects across Asia and Africa through targeted business development and project delivery. Leveraging expertise in programme design, partnerships, and capacity-building, this profile will strengthen MSC’s health portfolio and position in emerging markets.

Business development:

• Lead end-to-end business development, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client engagement.
• Develop strategic positioning for MSC in emerging areas of public health, health systems, and digital transformation.
• Drive the design of technical and financial proposals aligned with client priorities and MSC’s strengths.

Project management and delivery:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of consulting projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and impact.
• Lead project teams in research, design, implementation, and evaluation of health and nutrition interventions.
• Serve as technical lead or subject matter expert for projects on digital health, health financing, and health systems strengthening.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including government counterparts, donors, and consortium partners.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and knowledge dissemination meet MSC’s standards.

Team leadership and capacity building:

• Supervise and mentor Assistant Managers, Senior Analysts, and Analysts.
• Build technical capacity within the team in public health, health systems, and digital transformation.
• Facilitate collaboration across capabilities and geographies to strengthen MSC’s cross-sectoral offerings.
• Thought leadership and knowledge management:
• Lead or co-author policy briefs, white papers, and research publications.
• Represent MSC at industry forums, conferences, and roundtables.
• Contribute to thought leadership in emerging health domains.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Master’s degree in public health, healthcare management, development studies, public policy, health economics, social policy, or related fields from a recognized Indian or international institution.
