Organization Overview:

Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL)/Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) is a leadership development organization which works with education leaders to improve student learning outcomes at scale. We work on catalysing public system change by developing a cadre of competent and passionate leaders who have the foresight and courage to sustainably impact the nation’s grassroots at scale. In pursuance of this objective, we currently work in 13 states on building the leadership skills of government education officials at school, block, district and state level.

We strongly believe in the capability of the government systems in India to be the drivers of large- scale change in the domain of education, and over the years, we have worked with governments across multiple states to demonstrate the impact of our efforts on Student Learning Outcomes. With many central and state government bodies shifting focus onto working on systemic change in education, PFEL/KEF is grateful to have been recognised as a value-adding partner in driving transformation initiatives in education at the State and District levels.

We seek passionate individuals who are eager to bring about large-scale transformation in the Government Education system & it’s teaching learning processes based on 21st CC advanced skill requirements for the Students of Govt. schools.

You will be working for design, contextualize & rollout innovative contents for students on 21st cc skills. You will also develop innovative solutions to transform the schools.

You will work closely with the schools:

To understand needs and focus initiatives to improve Student’s 21st cc learning outcomes

To help deploy and project manage new solutions for Teacher Development Mechanism

To ensure adoption at the field set-up within the sanskardhma

To gather feedback and improve interventions for ensuring success

Key roles & responsibilities

Research & Product Development

• Contextualizing/Translating Curriculum, Student Handbook, Activity Book etc. on 21st CC skill (Ex- Foundational Learning, Social Emotional Ethical Learning, Project based teaching).
• Contextualizing/Translating Teacher Training modules, Teacher Handbook etc. on 21st CC skill (Ex- Foundational Learning, Social Emotional Ethical Learning, Project based teaching, Arts, Sports) in Hindi & Gujarati Language

• Ensure Vetting of all Curriculum & Training Modules by SCERT, Selection, Onboarding of State Resource Group, Master Facilitators for Quality Training

• Research on various topics and generate insights to develop robust products
• Execute Large Scale Capacity Building Activities for NEP Coordinators, Teachers, Prncipals, Train stakeholders – teachers, administrators etc and other instructional staff in new content or technology

• Execution of Large-scale Quality Training of NEP coordinators and Teachers
• Execution of other capacity building activities like – Online course, Professional learning community etc for NEP coordinators and Teachers

Project & Team Management

• Define Project Goals, Project Operation plan, Timeline
• Design Input-Output Matrix, Impact assessment indicator and processes for the Project
• Performance Management of 2 to 4 one down, Capacity Building of 6 to 10 two down

Key Performance Indicator

• Volume of Content contextualisation/Translation/Rollout in English Language (Planned vs Achieved)
• Large scale Training Execution and its Quality (Planned vs Achieved)
• Project Outcome (Planned vs Achieved)

Accountability

• Program Leader/ Senior Programme Leader will be accountable for smooth execution of the project at school level and building Knowledge, Skills and competencies of stakeholders

• Excellent oral and written communication (Proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi & English is a must). Additional knowledge of any other language would be an added advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT knowledge and demonstrated experience)
• Confident communicator, ability to dialogue professionally and diplomatically on complex issues with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to convert abstract ideas and concepts into concrete curriculum framework

and content with attention to stakeholder’s training and development needs.

• Capacity for innovation, creative thought, and strategic thinking.
• Collaboration with multiple internal/external stakeholders (individual and teams)
• Experience working in dynamic work environments with substantive dose of ambiguity
• Takes interest in quantitative and qualitative analysis (basic level)
• Ability to manage difficult partners and stakeholders and balance between relationship and project outcome.
• Ability of mange team dynamics & conflicts, capacity to engage in difficult conversation with team

Education and experience:

• Masters in Education will be an added advantage.
• 4+ years experience in Development/Education/ Corporate Sector.
• Facilitation, Change management or Coaching experience.
• Operations management, engagement with government departments, consultancy will be an added advantage

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors or Master's in Math/ Science with requisite skills / experience may apply.
• Bachelors in education (BEd) will be an added advantage
• Certificate /Diploma in Content Development is desired
• 4+ overall experience in Development/Education/ Corporate Sector.
• Facilitation, change management, Coaching experience is added advantage

Preference will be provided to:

• Person must be ready to reside in Ahmedabad (preferably already residing in Ahmedabad)
• Females in the age group of 25-45
