Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Intern for this mental health project. The role will primarily involve supporting participant recruitment, designing training materials and managing logistical and documentation related tasks for various workshops across the project (July-October 2025). The intern will report directly to the project lead and will be based at Sangath, New Delhi.
Job Responsibilities
Participant recruitment
- Develop recruitment forms and posters for co-design workshops and training workshops.
- Disseminate recruitment advertisements for training workshops.
- Maintain a database of participant details (name, college, demographic information).
- Coordinate and communicate with shortlisted participants for workshop invitations.
Workshop support for co-design and training sessions
- Support design of training materials and resources.
- Assist with logistics including office setup, refreshments and addressing participant queries.
- Support pre and post workshop assessments with project lead
- Collect and document feedback.
- Document workshops through note-taking, photography and videography.
- Process and distribute travel vouchers post workshop.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
Essential criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree [completed/pursuing] in psychology, social work, public health or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks such as contacting participants, tracking reminders, maintaining documentation, designing materials and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using tools, including MS Excel, Google Workspace, or other project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A keen interest in youth mental health
- Proficiency in using design tools such as Canva.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Desirable criteria:
- Prior experience of working on with young people or student groups, and social media management
