Wipro Foundation, thus, works in close partnerships with people and organizations, on themes such as education, ecology and healthcare.
We currently support a network of over 140 education organizations in 27 states and UTs.
Job Description
We are looking for a Program Manager to join the core team of Wipro Foundation’s Education Program to further our engagement in developing a strong network of education CSOs across the country.
Job Responsibilities
Outreach and Due Diligence:
- Enhancing outreach and awareness about Wipro Foundation’s Education programs
- Contributing to the onboarding of new partner organizations and Fellows and supporting applicants during the shortlisting phase
Program Management and Capacity Enhancement of Partners:
- Managing partnerships effectively, and with sensitivity, through field visits, calls, etc.
- Understanding and analyzing partners’ capacity enhancement requirements
- Helping organizations become effective in their chosen domain of work, e.g., foundational literacy and/or numeracy, by direct engagement, as well as in collaboration with other Resource Organizations
- Help organize events such as the Annual Partners’ Forum, thematic meets, workshops, training programs, etc.
Knowledge Management and Documentation:
- Effectively documenting information, outcomes and learning pertaining to the program, including field visits, proceedings of meets and conferences, videos, reports, etc.
Liaising with Others:
- Facilitate strategic tie-ups and partnerships with other organizations and agencies to further the program agenda b. Identify and liaise with internal and external stakeholders and vendors as needed
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- The individual should ideally have a graduate or postgraduate degree in Education/Development or allied areas. However, individuals with degrees in other disciplines are also welcome to apply, if they have the relevant experiences.
Skills and Work Experience:
- Overall experience of at least 8-10 years with 4-5 years in the Education domain
- Previous experience of working as a teacher and/or in a corporate set-up/CSR team/philanthropic foundation is preferred
- Previous exposure in the areas of education for children with disabilities and/or foundational literacy and numeracy would be an advantage
- Good English language skills and ability to read and converse in Hindi and in any of the other regional languages preferred
