Job Description

• Onboarding watershed shapefiles on NABARD Bhuvan Portal.
• Facilitate implementing agencies in regular geotagging of all assets.
• Coordinating with ROs and Channel Partners to ensure timely updation of the data on NABARD Bhuvan Portal.
• Facilitate the preparation of Geospatial Technology-based Detailed Project Reports (DPR) .
• Conducting capacity building workshops for ROs, DDMs and Project Facilitating Agencies.
• Conduct impact evaluation studies of the completed projects.
• Prepare technical documents such as SOPs, manuals and brochures.
• Any other work assigned by the department.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

• B.Tech / B.E in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / Geomatics with minimum 60%

                              OR

•  M.Sc / M.Tech / Master of Engineering (M.E) in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / Geomatics with minimum 55%

 Experience

Essential:

• Minimum of 2 Years of post-qualification experience in Image Processing/GIS based Analysis/application of remote sensing & GIS/AI&ML in Agriculture/Hydrology/Watershed development/Water Resources etc.
• Demonstrated experience in use of ArcGIS/ERDAS/QGIS etc. as also in training of targeted groups.
