Job Description
Understanding Wastewater Governance and the Impact of Wastewater Irrigation on the Environment and Society.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct field-based data collection through interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory methods with farmers, community members, and local institutions
- Support project documentation, translation, and data entry in Kannada and English
- Contribute to field reporting, logistics arrangement, and periodic review meetings
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences (e.g. sociology, economics, anthropology, environmental studies, or related disciplines) or agriculture and allied domains.
- Strong communication skills in Kannada/Telugu (mandatory) and basic proficiency in English.
- Prior experience in community-based research, rural fieldwork, or NGO programs preferred
- Ability to work independently, maintain records meticulously, and engage respectfully with diverse communities
