Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited.(GNFC), is a joint sector enterprise promoted by the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(GSFC). It was set up in Bharuch, Gujarat in 1976. Located at Bharuch in an extremely prosperous industrial belt, GNFC draws on the resources of the natural wealth of the land as well as the industrially rich reserves of the area.

GNFC started its manufacturing and marketing operations by setting up in 1982, one of the world’s largest single-stream ammonia-urea fertilizer complexes. Over the next few years, GNFC successfully commissioned different projects – in fields as diverse as chemicals, fertilizers and electronics.

Since inception, GNFC has worked towards an extensive growth as a corporation. A growth which respects the environment and springs from the progressive vision of GNFC.

Job Description

The South Zone operations team is excited to launch new projects in Telangana within our education and livelihood verticals. We are seeking a professional who can take ownership of critical project aspects and support the project lead in achieving key outputs and outcomes. This role involves engaging in primary and secondary research, building strong government relations, and implementing essential project components with key

stakeholders. Additionally, support may be required for operations in three other states as per project needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing, monitoring, & administering all programs on Education, Women Empowerment, Healthcare, Community/ Rural Development, Water and Sanitation, Environment, Skill Development and Livelihood with the view of Corporate Environment and Social Responsibility (CER / CSR) under the NARDES, CSR wing of GNFC.
  • Develop, manage, implement and administer CSR policies/guidelines and its amendments from time to time.
  • CSR Domain knowledge / CSR Rules of Companies Act 2013.
  • Review existing rules and regulations and recommended changes for improving and fostering CSR/CER activities.
  • Support in managing entire project life cycles from conceptualization to execution and evaluation from time to time.
  • Must have abreast knowledge of compliance as per the CSR Rules and its amendments.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (Govt. School authorities, community level/ gram panchayats etc.) for day-to day project execution/implementation & monitoring.
  • Coordinating CSR events, campaigns programs organized by Company and Government from time to time.
  • Assisting in building relationships with stakeholders, NGOs, SHGs and community groups.
  • Work in close co-ordination with the concern Dept. Heads to capture their key expectations from the CSR and provide efficient service.
  • To manage CSR budgets and resources.
  • Handling financial planning, resource allocation and purchase for CSR projects.
  • Measuring and reporting on CSR performance and impact supporting the development of CSR infrastructure aligning Company’s framework.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging issues in CSR /CER.
  • Providing administrative support to the CSR team.
  • Preparing Quarterly and Annual CSR Presentations /Agenda/ Reports etc.
  • Social/Impact Assessment etc. of implemented / executed project/s.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Incumbent should be a full time MBA (Rural Management) OR Masters in Social Works (MSW) course from a reputed and recognized Institute/University.

Experience

  • Around 15 Years of relevant Post-Qualification experience in the field of CSR in large industrial organization.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and a well organized approach to work.
  • Capability to work with numerical information, plus analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A diplomatic approach and the confidence to provide support to high-profile company staff and board members.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information, managerial skills and team working skills.
  • A sound grasp of corporate governance issues and a commercial frame of mind.

Additional Information :

  • Exposure in IT Skills is essential and knowledge of Gujarati language will be preferred.
  • Candidate must be Computer and Technology Savvy.
  • Candidate should be conversant to HRMS, ERP modules, preferably SAP system.
