Through our initiatives, which are CSR and FCRA compliant, we address key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

We began as a CSR consultancy to ensure that companies create catalytic change by leveraging their business capabilities to solve social issues that they and their stakeholders care about. We then transitioned into a strategic alliance builder, bringing together public, private, and philanthropic stakeholders to solve pressing societal challenges, at scale. We established and managed 5 alliances which are collectively impacting 7 million individuals from underserved communities, across financial inclusion, healthcare, livelihood, water and sanitation.

 

Role Overview:

 

Looking for Associate/Sr. Associate proficient in working with implementation partners (NGOs & social enterprises), experienced in need identification, program concept creation and delivering end to end execution of projects in financial inclusion domain. They should have knowledge on monitoring, evaluation & reporting of the projects.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Responsible for overall program delivery in co-ordination with Samhita implementation partners (IPs)
  2. Conduct prospect research to identify, cultivate and solicit new project implementation partners
  3. Capacity building and handholding of the IPs to ensure smooth project delivery
  4. Work closely with IPs to ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones and impact
  5. Ensure data collection, reporting and documentation as per timelines
  6. Closely monitor project activities and deliverables to identify and manage risks
  7. Oversee budget and resources utilisation
  8. Contribute to proposal writing, program design, M&E and research
  9. Independently manage external stakeholder conversations with IPs as well as other stakeholders
  10. Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements.
  11. Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  1. Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
  1. Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in written form.
  2. Seek opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the service lines of Samhita.
  3. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
  4. Support the interns and volunteers for field research, survey and developing information on Samhita Verticals.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience of having worked in the Rural development/Agriculture/Livelihood projects. Exposure to financial inclusion will be preferred.
  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes.
  • Demonstrated success of developing and evaluating program models and NGOs, and selecting and operationalizing programs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to the field for project implementation
  • Comfortable with handling and analysing data
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience of engaging with international clients and working in onsite-offshore environment
  • Ability to contribute beyond the defined scope of work
  • Demonstrated experience of contributing to firm and knowledge building

 

Work Location:  Multiple as per projects (Nagpur/ Aurangabad/ Osmanabad/ Amravati/ Bhopal/ Madurai)
