Job Description/Responsibilities

The State Program Manager for Gujarat will lead the implementation of the SwiftSchool program across 550+ schools in Ahmedabad and Navsari districts, under the Bharat EdTech Initiative (BEI). This role is responsible for ensuring seamless adoption of SwiftPAL, SwiftClass, SwiftChat, and our suite of AI-enabled learning bots while driving strong program outcomes on the ground.

The State Program Manager will oversee district-level execution, manage and mentor implementation teams, strengthen field operations, and ensure meaningful learning impact. As and when ConveGenius expands its footprint, this role will also be responsible for scaling interventions to additional districts across Gujarat, supporting both program delivery and strategic business expansion.

Program Leadership & Strategy -

  • Lead implementation of SwiftSchool across Ahmedabad and Navsari in alignment with district and state priorities.
  • Develop annual and quarterly work plans with clear milestones and accountability structures.
  • Pilot implementation and cost-impact models under BEI to refine scalable approaches.

Program Delivery & Adoption -

  • Ensure effective rollout of SwiftPAL, SwiftClass, SwiftChat, and learning bots across intervention schools.
  • Drive strong teacher adoption through training, mentoring, and academic support.
  • Collaborate with product teams to localize content, dashboards, and analytics for Gujarat.
  • Create structured feedback loops that channel field insights into program and product improvements.

Stakeholder Management -

  • Manage relationships with district officials, state partners, and school leadership.
  • Lead communication, reporting, and impact showcases with CSR/NGO funders.
  • Represent ConveGenius in review meetings, workshops, and donor forums.
  • Lead and mentor the Gujarat implementation team across districts.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Strengthen team performance through reviews, coaching, and capacity-building

Data, Monitoring & Impact -

  • Track key program KPIs such as adoption, engagement, and learning outcomes.
  • Use dashboards and analytics to drive field decision-making and report insights.
  • Prepare evidence-driven reports, presentations, and case studies for leadership, state partners, and donors.

Scope for Business Expansion -

  • Support expansion of SwiftSchool to additional districts across Gujarat.
  • Plan resources, establish operational structures, and drive new district onboarding.
  • Enable district teams to deliver strong program outcomes in alignment with expansion plans.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Master’s or equivalent from a top-tier institution in Management, Education, Development Studies, or related fields
  • Experience: 6-8 years of work experience, with at least 4-5 years in large-scale program implementation
  • Experience working with government education systems is highly desirable
  • Strong program and project delivery skills: planning, execution, and risk management
  • Proven stakeholder engagement ability with senior officials and funders
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical mindset: ability to use data for decision-making and communicate insights effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, English is mandatory (written, spoken and reading)
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data analysis is expected

  • Deliver consistently and communicate sharply.
  • You plan ahead, set clear expectations, and ensure that program updates, reports, and outcomes are delivered with timeliness, clarity, and crisp logic.
