Job Description
Karnataka State Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (KSRLPS), in collaboration with PRADAN and BRAC International, is designing and implementing a three-year project aimed at lifting 50,000 extremely underserved families out of poverty in 20 blocks across 10 districts in Karnataka. This initiative, known as the Nurturing Aspirations and Resilience for Inclusion Karnataka Inclusive Livelihoods Programme (NARI-KILP), will employ comprehensive productive inclusion strategies to enhance the lives of marginalised populations, especially women. PRADAN will place qualified personnel at various levels to ensure the successful implementation of NARI - KILP.
Position: Taluk Coordinator - Maski, Raichur
Location of Posting: Karnataka
Position Tenure: Employment Contract up to March 31, 2027, renewable as per availability of funding, with a probationary period of 6 months
Responsibilities
- Support the Resource Persons (RPS) in identifying the programme participants and preparing an action plan for each person/household
- Guide and mentor the RPS, and ensure that they support the programme participants as per the plan drawn up for each person/household
- Regular review and value addition as needed
- Liaise with the local Panchayat and Taluk departments in converging resources and also accessing necessary entitlements
- Provide regular training to the RPS through field visits, and formal and informal meetings
- Ensure data collection and filling up the MIS on time
- Submission of periodic reports to TPMU as per requirement
- Identify and document best practices
- Communicate effectively with the external stakeholders about the programme
- Any other tasks as assigned
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum of three years of experience in the social development sector
- At least two years of experience working with rural, urban, or other underserved communities
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Kannada
- Experience in working collaboratively within teams
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to participate effectively in meetings and good report writing skills
Salary
Remuneration: Rs. 32-36,000/month
