We are One Young World, empowering and developing young leaders to build a fair, sustainable future for all.

It all begins with the annual One Young World Summit - the beating heart of what we are about. For young leaders, the Summit is the landmark event of the year. It is a chance for the individuals responsible for shaping the future of our world, to come together to confront the biggest challenges facing humanity. The Summit is the ultimate place to be inspired, share learnings, and connect. Together we raise the bar for what it is possible to achieve as leaders, individually and collectively. The One Young World Summit 2024 will take place in Montréal, Canada from 18 - 21 September 2024.

About the Scholarship

At Airbus, our purpose is to pioneer sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. Through our Community Impact programme, we focus on supporting sustainable solutions that tackle community-identified needs, with a specific priority on enabling change for vulnerable people in the areas of youth development and environmental impact.

We invest in innovative education models and projects that increase equitable access to education and economic opportunities for vulnerable communities. We also put our efforts behind climate adaptation and resilience implementation solutions that address the economic, social and ecosystem impact of climate change.

We are proud to partner with One Young World to identify and connect an interdisciplinary team of 5 committed young leaders who are working on innovative climate adaptation and resilience solutions, or enabling social equity through education, skills development or employability solutions, to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024, which takes place in Montréal, Canada, from 18 - 21 September.

Successful candidates will receive a fully funded scholarship to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024 which takes place in Montréal, Canada from 18 – 21 September. Scholars will participate in the Summit as members of Airbus’ delegation, and can participate in follow-up sessions with Airbus to help scale and accelerate their initiatives.

Airbus Scholars will receive:

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada
• Hotel accommodation in Montréal between 17 - 21 September (inclusive) 2024.
• The cost of travel to and from Montréal (flights in economy)
• Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue

Eligibility

Candidates must be:

• Aged 18 – 30*
