About the Awards
The Cheistha Kochhar Nudge Awards recognise individuals, teams, and organisations implementing ethical and evidence-based behavioural interventions, or nudges, that create measurable social impact in India.
The Awards celebrate work applying behavioural science to improve outcomes in public health, education, financial inclusion, environmental sustainability, governance, civic participation and more.
Eligibility
Applications are open to:
- Non-profit organisations
- Social enterprises and start-ups
- Corporate CSR teams
- Government departments
- Academic and research institutions
- Independent practitioners
Both completed and ongoing projects are eligible, provided there is evidence of measurable outcomes.
Self-nominations and third-party nominations are welcome.
Evaluation Criteria
- Quality and intentional use of behavioural insights or nudge
- Evidence of impact
- Ethical integrity
- Learning value and potential for replication
- Relevance to India’s public and social priorities
