PLAN India Impact Awards 2022

Plan India established the Plan India Impact Awards in 2017 to recognise the unwavering contributions of the last mile champions. Across its four editions, the Awards have nationally celebrated outstanding functionaries, provided the impetus to continue their efforts, and reinforced their best practices in the field.

Plan India Impact Awards 2022 are open to all community frontline workers, volunteers, and changemakers who work tirelessly in their own communities and beyond, to encourage and ensure greater participation across the country. This has been done to recognize their exemplary contributions, and document best practices from the field, to bolster exceptional performers and existing programmes in the pursuit of their life-changing contributions.

The last date for filling nominations is 5th June 2022. The final awardees shall be announced in a hybrid event in Delhi on 23 July, 2022

Evaluation Process
The Plan India Impact Awards 2022 follows the intensive two rounds evaluation process, which is as follows: 

Round 1: For the first stage of assessing the award applications, a Regional-Sub Jury consisting of 16 experts, two experts per category, will thoroughly review and evaluate the nominations. The experts will then select the top 3 nominations from each category based on their knowledge, proficiency, and expertise in line with the pre-defined parameters. 

Round 2: After careful evaluation of applications in round 1 by the domain experts, the shortlisted applications will go in the second round, consisting of the National Jury of 3-4 experts, who will assess the nominations further through a lot of discussion and deliberation and will finally select the best projects to declare the winner from each category.

The applications in both rounds will be evaluated on three broad parameters: Impact, Innovation, and Story of Success. Each of these parameters has different and pre-defined key indicators mentioned in the guidance note of each category. All the received nominations will be assessed on their qualitative and quantitative aspects.
