Kaizen: The Annual Social Fest at NSS, IIT Delhi

About the Organiser:

NSS IIT Delhi aims to motivate students at IITD to indulge in nation building activities through various events and projects which are aimed towards the benefit of people in and around IIT Delhi.  We have a volunteer base of around 2000 students belonging to various disciplines and degrees of IIT Delhi, who work on a diverse range of social issues including blood donation, teaching, environmental issues, etc.

About the Fest:

Kaizen, the annual social festival of NSS IIT Delhi is a platform to recognize the continuous improvements in our society initiated and accelerated by the combined efforts of all socially motivated student bodies and NGOs across India and abroad. Interaction and opinion sharing is the prime focal point of Kaizen. It aims at providing a single platform for exchange of a plethora of ideologies, stories & experiences of people who stood up against the tides and sailed through them, so that any idea or solution implemented at one place can also become success model for others. Hence, the 5th edition of Kaizen holds the theme of ‘Honoring the social icons’.

The inaugural event of the 5th edition of Kaizen will be graced by our chief guest, the Higher Education Secretary of the Govt. of India, Mr. R. Subrahmanyam, followed a few words of guidance by the Deputy Director of IIT delhi, and a musical performance by Vasu Raina.

Social Convention is the Flagship event of KAIZEN 2020. It provides an innovative platform for organizations working in the social sector to present their work to the potential investors such as CSR as well as to several students and student bodies (such as NSS) of colleges across India who would love to collaborate with such organizations (NGOs, Social Startups, etc.) Conglomerates like “NASSCOM Foundation”, “LEAD India” have associated with us as chief CSR partners in previous years.

Kaizen'20 brings to you some wonderful and interactive workshops in different social domains. These involve one-to-one interactions and activities covering a wide range of areas such as entrepreneurship, self-awareness, effective giving, and sustainable development. Also, we have in store, interesting and sensitizing panel discussions and guest lectures by eminent activists, policymakers and people whose work has allowed creating our society a better place.

Kaizen ‘20, the 5th edition of NSS IITD’s annual social fest is here, and it brings to the stage a plethora of activities and events, centered around the theme of ‘honoring the social icons’. Including the flagship event, Social Convention, which innovative platform for organizations working in the social sector to present their work to the potential investors such as CSR as well as to several students and student bodies (such as NSS) of colleges across India who would love to collaborate with such organizations (NGOs, Social Startups, etc.)  In addition, they have panel discussions by eminent social icons,  workshops, guest lectures, blood donation camp, slam poetry, etc.
