A two day boot camp on 9^th & 10^th November, 2020 (virtual)

 

India Livelihoods Collective, in collaboration with CSRBOX, has curated a Virtual Boot Camp for you to learn the fundamentals of. Join us for the two-day virtual Boot Camp on ‘Handicrafts & Handloom Enterprises:  Conserving & Reviving Traditional Wisdom’ and understand how to make the traditional skills and crafts relevant for the current markets and enhance the overall business sustainability of the sector with specially designed training session by Industree Foundation, Tata Power CSR and some of best practices of strongest enablers from across the country.

Key Highlights

The Bootcamp-IV on ‘Handicrafts & Handloom Enterprises: Conserving & Reviving Traditional Wisdom’ is planned in form of two sessions on the 9^th and 10^th November, 2020 and aims to develop an end-to-end understanding of the professional. The programme builds organisational knowledge and capacities in terms of SOPs, implementation, management, key challenges associated and learning. 

 

Session-I: Designing and Implementing Enterprise Programmes for Handicrafts & Handlooms

 Session-II: SHG Best Practices: SOPs for Successful Enterprises

Craft Catapult

• The Craft Catapult is the Annual Accelerator Program
• It offers technology support to startups.

The Bamboo Resource Centre 

Mr. Pulaha Dasgupta, Design & Technical Consultant, Industree Foundation

• Livelihoods & Business Incubator which will develop new products
• Acting as a prototype collection and display centre for these products.

Heritage Conservation and Livelihoods in Urban Areas

Ms. Jui Tawade, Co-convener INTACH Pune Chapter

• Conservation of craft to go hand in hand with community aspirations and livelihood success
• Community oriented and a stakeholder based approach

Handloom School & Synergy Programme, Women Weave*

• WomenWeave’s Synergy Programme supports design and marketing assistance for traditional weavers and hand block printers. (*TBD)
