The Context

The Covid 19 pandemic has significantly changed the way people perceive technology. India has witnessed over 504 million active internet users who are 5 years old or above in the past one year. Evidently, educational practices, mode of training, and teaching methods have changed immensely over this period of time. With these significant changes taking place in the Ed-tech industry it is crucial that our trainers and educators equip themselves with the right tools and techniques that would help them conduct effective, engaging and interactive virtual sessions.

 

The Masterclass

CSRBOX, in partnership with Learning Matters, has created a bespoke virtual masterclass for teachers and trainers to train them on how to effectively use freely available Google tools to augment online classrooms/ training sessions.

 

The masterclass will specifically cover the techniques and tools used for collaborative learning to enhance the quality of virtual training sessions. It will focus on ways to make lessons more effective and engaging. The participants will learn to include interactive lessons and concepts in their ‘online learning platforms’ to gauge audience engagement, explore the options of building online communities to give their audience a platform to express themselves. The masterclass will also entail in-depth sessions on how to effectively manage participant assessments, grading and feedback using different Google tools. 

 

Pedagogy

Participants will be able to test their learning through in-session assignments and will receive a certification based on one final assessment.

 

Certificate of Participation

Participants will receive an e-certificate on behalf of Learning Matters and Impact Academy on successful participation in the 2-day masterclass.

 

Learning Objectives

During the masterclass, participants will-

1. Gain an in-depth understanding of including engaging concepts in their online learning platform using Jamboard.
2. Be able to build their own interactive classroom community which will help them make their training interactive using Bloggers and Google Sites. 
3. Learn to effectively manage assessments, grading and feedback using Google forms and sheets.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to-

1. Build their own classroom community with Blogger and Google Sites.
2. Enhance audience engagement through Jamboard.
3. Build assessments using Google Forms.
4. Analyze audience progress through Google Sheets.
