Job Description
Hindalco is a leading producer of aluminium in the country. Extrusion process is very versatile & cost-effective metal forming process. The Silvassa Hindalco Extrusion section is new location and dedicated for B&C market which requires the low product cost with the utmost quality which is only possible with working of high-end press along with downstream process. Hindalco Industries Ltd. is the Metals Flagship of Aditya Birla Group. Hindalco Industries Ltd. Silvassa Extrusion plant aims to develop a one-of-a-kind Manufacturing Unit that will be highly automated to bring superior quality and consistency. Job Challenges: As a responsible corporate citizen, we in Hindalco aim at inclusive growth. While the company grows, it is very important to ensure that the local community around us also grows simultaneously. Thus, there is a need to take up CSR projects in the villages around, based on the need of the community.
The project work for setting up of an Extrusion Plant has already begun and we need to show our caring gesture and concern for the development of the local community around from the beginning. To understand the real need of the people we are conducting a need identification survey through an external agency. This will lead to action plan with relevant CSR projects based on the need and available resources. The CSR employee will be required to get involved from the beginning to have ownership over the process and outcome so that it can be driven well. The new employee will also take some time to establish rapport with the local community and other stakeholders related to CSR. Keeping all these in view, it is required to engage an employee in the position as soon as possible.
