Position: Associate Manager – Water Resources
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat / Delhi NCR
CTC: INR 8.40L - 11.40L per annum (Depending on experience and expertise)
About the Position:
The Associate Manager – Water Resources at CSRBOX plays a crucial role in leading and implementing water resource management projects, including water body rejuvenation, river basin conservation, watershed development, check dam construction, and rainwater harvesting. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, or Delhi NCR, this position is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise in water conservation, hydrology, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and leadership on water resources management projects, specifically focusing on water bodies rejuvenation, river basin conservation, watershed development, check dam construction, spring rejuvenation, and rainwater harvesting.
- Lead project design, planning, configuration, and technical execution, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and project goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external technical agencies, government departments, and local stakeholders to ensure timely and effective implementation of water resource projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations, site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed project reports (DPRs).
- Supervise on-ground project activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, technical, and quality standards.
- Regularly monitor and document project progress, preparing detailed updates and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and risks, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
- Provide capacity-building training and support to internal team members and field staff on technical aspects related to water resources.
- Stay updated with new technological innovations, best practices, and regulatory frameworks in water conservation and management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Management, Hydrology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, planning, and executing water resources projects, particularly in water bodies rejuvenation, watershed management, rainwater harvesting, check dams, and river basin conservation.
- Strong technical proficiency in hydrological assessments, GIS mapping, and relevant software/tools.
- Experience in managing and coordinating with multi-stakeholder groups including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities.
- Proven capability in preparing and presenting detailed project reports and technical documents.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
