This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Content creation and development:
  a) Create engaging WhatsApp specific content (video, infographics, images with key messages, quizzes, etc.) to raise awareness on NCD prevention, management, maintaining healthy lifestyle, etc. 
  b) Create motivational messages, announcements and follow up notification and updates to be shared on WhatsApp.
• Content calendar:
  a) Prepare quarterly content roadmap to meet the objectives of the project.
  b) Prepare a bi-monthly content calendar to post daily messages on WhatsApp.
  b) Ensure content is delivered according to the calendar.
• Research:
  a) Conduct internet based-research to develop valid and verified content for NCDs.
  b) Use reliable sites to develop key messages.
• Coordination:
  a) Coordinate with the operations team and community mobilisers.
  b) Work closely with designer to ensure content is designed on time.
  c) Work closely with SBCC manager to finalize content roadmap, calendar and designed content.  
• Training:
  a) Train community mobilizers how to share content on WhatsApp so they can provide guidance to the samiti members.
  b) Support community mobilisers by addressing their requirements in bringing about behavior change in communities.
• Impact assessment:
  a) Monitor the efficacy of WhatsApp content that is shared and document.
  b) Make necessary modifications to the content after evaluation.
• Travel:
  Visit project sites (in Maharashtra) to learn about community needs and modify content accordingly.

Experience required

• 2-3 years of experience in handling behavior change programs
• Experienced in developing engaging and innovative content for any format
• Experienced in writing, editing, proof reading
• Experienced in digital platforms especially WhatsApp
• Knowledge of MS office (word, excel and PowerPoint)
• Worked with social enterprises/ NGOs (preferred)
• Using Canva as a design tool (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Masters in social work/public health or allied field

• In-depth understanding of WhatsApp and its features
• Fluency in English and regional languages such as Hindi and Marathi
• Able to multitask and deliver within timelines
