Job Description
PATH is currently seeking for a Block coordinator – Digital PHC on Third Party Payroll (Randstad) for PATH’s Digital Primary Healthcare program in Maharashtra. PATH is looking for highly motivated, analytical professionals possessing a ‘will do attitude’ to work with the organization to support roll out of field activities and support program work in the district. The selected candidate will get an opportunity to work and contribute to a growing portfolio of impactful work in the digital health space. The expected skills include but are not limited to use of Microsoft office, navigating digital applications, comfortable with using the internet and common online platforms like google etc., good communication skills, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Support liaising with district and block level stakeholders involved in project activities
- Work closely with the Block, District State and Central project teams for project implementation.
- Support district staff and ensure the timely achievement of deliverables.
- Coordinate with district administration and participate in district planning and review meetings to ensure proper implementation of interventions and related project activities.
- Ensure seamless coordination between project teams and other stakeholders.
- Support the State team with landscaping exercise and gap assessment in the district.
- Support training and capacity building activities for ASHAs, ANMs and others as per project requirements.
- Provide handholding support to field staff for project activities &/or other activities in their routine service delivery as per the need of the project.
- Facilitate IEC-BCC activities in coordination with the state team and district team.
- Support implementation of digital health innovations
- Document activities and progress of implementation for project reports.
- Support in the creation of presentations for updates and meetings.
- Undertake other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
- Travel extensively across the district and state, whenever required for project activities.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience and demonstrated skills in public health program implementation (experience in digital health projects preferable)
- Experience of working with state and/or district level government health department is desirable but not mandatory. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
- Willing to work in coordination with government public health facilities and field functionaries.
- Master’s degree in management or public health or social work or similar fields from a reputable graduate school
- Technical knowledge and field experience of planning and implementation of public health programs and health systems strengthening in Maharashtra, especially RMNCH.
- Familiarity with Indian public health system, flagship initiatives in health sector and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly NHM, Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centers, ABDM, National Health Programs etc.
Skills/ Abilities
- Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels.
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and an emphasis on quality.
- Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi essential.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
- Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-site organization and in a team-based structure.
- Proven effectiveness while working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently.
