Job Description

IIMBx Digital Learning Foundation, a company promoted by IIM Bangalore and incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, seeks an innovative, strategic, and dynamic leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). IIMBx designs, develops, and delivers a range of online courses and programs that provide high-quality, accessible management education to universities, businesses, and Government. The CEO will oversee all aspects of the organization, ensuring its growth, sustainability, and alignment with the institute's broader mission to provide high-quality, accessible education.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the mission and objectives of IIMBx.
• Foster innovation and growth in digital education offerings.
• Maintain and enhance the reputation of IIMBx as a leader in online education.
• Build a strong IIMBx brand while achieving impact at scale.

Operational Management:

• Oversee operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of online courses and programs.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational plans to achieve strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, corporate partners, Government, and donors.          
• Represent IIMBx in industry forums, conferences, and media engagements.

Financial Oversight:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
• Identify and secure funding sources, including grants, donations, and corporate partnerships.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.

Technology and Innovation:

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital education.
• Lead the adoption of innovative tools and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Ensure the technological infrastructure supports the strategic objectives of IIMBx.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes for course content and delivery.
• Continuously improve the learning experience based on feedback and data analytics.
• Ensure alignment with IIMB’s academic standards and reputation.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced degree in business, education, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the education or technology sectors.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in financial management and fundraising.
• Deep understanding of the digital education landscape and emerging trends.
• Commitment to the mission and values of IIMBx and IIMB.
