Communications Manager

Basic Profile:

The Communications Manager will primarily be responsible for designing and implanting all the external communication regarding activities of the project including awareness campaigns, IEC material, social media promotion along with all the stakeholder communication related to the program including funder reports, impact reports, case studies etc.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing written, digital, and audio-visual IEC and training material for promotion of millet cultivation among the farmers
• Designing IEC material for promotion of benefits of millets for consumer awareness including posters, banners, standees, leaflets, reels, videos
• Organizing promotional events for creating consumer awareness about millets such as cooking workshops, Millet Yatra, promotional stalls, participation in events and exhibitions.   
• Designing online awareness campaigns to be run on various social media platforms and creating material for the same.
• Collation of various data points and pictures from all aspects of the project for documentation and reporting to funders and other stakeholders.
• Handling multi-stakeholder communication and collaboration including creation and sharing of timely reports and updates regarding the progress of the project.
• Creating Case Studies, documenting good practices regarding the project and sharing them.
• Other work maybe assigned as per organizational needs.

Skills we are looking for.

• Good communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent documentation skills (Report writing, Presentation, etc.)
• Creativity, innovative thinking, and a sense of aesthetics and design.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English (written and spoken)
• Competence with Office tools, designing platforms like Canva, Figma, Adobe Express etc.
• Working knowledge of video and photo editing. Skills/ interest in Photography, Videography would be welcomed.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Communication, Mass Media, Journalism, Social Work, Development Studies, Development Communication, Design, or any other related course with a passion for working towards social change.
• Candidates with other educational qualifications but with relevant experience will also be considered.

Candidates with experience will be preferred.

Salary: To be based on qualification and past experience
