About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination with Programme Divisions of the Ministry to collate their inputs/comments on the Programme Implementation Plan of States (PIP) for placing the same before the National Programme Coordination Committee (NPCC) for State/s allocated to the consultant.
• Coordination with Programme Divisions of the Ministry & with the States to provide programmatic insights related to various data & reports being generated under National Health Mission.
• Support building capacities at State & district level towards improving health plans, using epidemiological & HMIS inputs.
• Undertake field visits and monitor/review the programme implementation in the States and related data generation.
• Collect and analyse data on components of health systems strengthening
• Interpret data trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation checks.
• Maintain documentation and ensure data management process
• Work closely with public health program managers and stakeholders to identify data needs and objectives.
• Support the development and evaluation of public health interventions by providing relevant data analysis.
• Assist in program evaluation efforts by supplying necessary data and insights.
• Monitor program performance metrics and assess the impact of interventions on community health outcomes.
• Stay current with public health research and trends to inform data analysis practices.
• Undertake other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time by the Reporting Authority.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• B.Tech / M.Tech ( CS / IT) or B.E./M.E ( CS / IT) or MCA or M.Sc. ( CS / IT).
• Certification from reputed and recognised institute in Data Analytics / Business analytics / Visualization & Reports from recognised institution. Minimum course duration should be 6 months.

 Experience

• 2-year post qualification experience in the area of analysis and reporting is essential.
• Experience in preparing management reports, providing data analytics for IT Application systems in public domain ( preferably health) is required.
• Experience in analysing reports from different sources and providing integrated view is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Experience in liaison with various divisions and state team through effective communication is needed
• Experience in health program at field level/ working in strengthening of health systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.
