Job Description

Work Plan & Stakeholder Coordination:

• Facilitate acceptance of work plans by BEE/SDA and coordinate with stakeholders for the implementation of ECSBC-Commercial & Residential (ENS) in the State/UT.
• Propose and support the formation of a High-Level Committee for energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.

 Draft Submission & Compliance:

• Prepare and submit drafts for the notification and enforcement of ECSBC norms and their integration into building bye-laws.
•  Coordinate with relevant authorities to support the integration of ECSBC directives into building approval processes.

 Building Compliance & Monitoring:

• Monitor compliance of building projects with ECSBC-Commercial & Residential (ENS) norms, including ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Provide technical support for energy audits, design simulations, and achieving ECBC & ENS compliance.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Submit regular progress reports to SDA and BEE.
• Support the preparation of manuals and documents on compliance procedures, along with feasibility reports and updates on projects.

 Training & Certification Support:

• Coordinate training programs and assist in facilitating the Star Rating and Shunya Labelling certification processes for energy-efficient buildings.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master-s degree in engineering- Energy- Management- Building Science- or a related field from a recognized University or Institute.

Certifications:

• Desirable certifications include ECBC Master Trainer- BEE Certified Energy Manager- GRIHA CP- Evaluator & Trainer- LEED AP- IGBC AP- or CMVP.

Industry Expertise:

• Proven experience as a Green Building Consultant across private and government projects.
• Extensive knowledge in low-carbon- energy-efficient building design- renewable energy projects- and passive solar heating.
• Expertise in distributed renewable energy systems and compliance with energy standards like ECBC and ASHRAE.

Skills

Software Proficiency:

• Skilled in E-Quest- AutoCAD- Building Energy Simulation software- MS Project- and Excel-based financial analysis tools.
• Experience in training on energy simulation and climate finance is a plus.
