About the Organization

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research and policy development in the area of Public Health.

Job Responsibilities

The Consultant – Social Worker will be responsible for actual collection of data from adolescent girls and parents.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.

Approaching study participants and mobilize them to participate in the study
Collect data using mobile based application as per guidelines
Prepare daily report and submit to research fellow at the district
Ensure completion of data collection
Perform any other task as assigned by the project team and PI

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

Graduate or master’s degree in Social work / social science or other relevant disciplines

Experience:

Essential:

6 months of experience in collection of data in field.

Desirable:

Experience of working with adolescents and children.
Effective Communication skills
Ability to manage the team’s performance
Ability to prepare reports, presentations etc.
