Job Description
This position will be responsible for overseeing specific projects for Nayara Energy Limited under the supervision of the Lead CSR (Vadinar) and Lead CSR (Mumbai) .
Job Responsibilities
Program Implementation and Management
- Develop and define implementation target for CSR projects
- Ensure CSR Governance mechanism is followed and ensure internal and external control and compliance
- Developing robust mechanism for upkeep of reports, record like periodical reports, MOMs, stakeholders communications
- Develop MIS and database and analytics for project management and reporting
Monitoring and Review
- Periodic review of the CSR programs and field monitoring and providing insights to partner organisation in improving quality and efficiency of interventions
- Identify area of strengthening effective implementation through proper resource utilization
- Capacity building of project team from time to time on different aspects of project implementation and effective document and reporting
Support and Coordination
- Providing support to Lead CSR for conducting monthly/quarterly/ annual reviews with the existing partners to evaluate the performance and address quality issues in the delivery of CSR Programs
Documentation and reporting
- Documentation of all the key milestones of individual CSR projects
- Documentation of the initiatives, periodical reports, annual reports, compliance reports and sharing with the Corporate CSR team.
- Preparation and compilation of presentation as per latest trends
- Providing necessary support for compilation of documents related to compliance and senior management reporting with respect to CSR rules
Coordination and Liaison with internal Stakeholders
- Engagement with varied internal stakeholders viz. corporate communications team, environment , public affairs (CRG team) etc
- Plan and conduct meetings/ discussions as needed and keep record of such proceedings and follow-ups
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Preferably a Master’s degree in social work or rural development or any other discipline from a institute of repute
Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
- Overall experience of 3-5 years in development sector and minimum 1-2 years total experience of working in CSR space preferably in a multinational company.
- Good understanding of government system and public administration and stakeholder engagement
- Past experience of working closely with Government will be significant advantage
Functional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills in English and Gujarati
- Preferably should have understanding and experience of CSR and sustainability related work.
- Good project management and partnership management skills
- Strong ability to build relationships, interface with a large number of people and network with people and institutions working in social sector.
- Awareness of business, financial performance, products and their technical details
- Ability & willingness to multi-tasking and working under pressure of deadlines
- Good track record of line management and mentoring of team(s)
- Good at MS Office and possesses strong analytical skills
